Business Analytics Developer (2 positions)

Job Title: Business Analytics Developer
Job Description:

You will be part of the solution architecture team to develop the predefined Business Analytics solution template. The template will consist of a dimensional modelled data model with comprehensive dashboard and reports that providing the industries best practice KPIs to our clients. On top of that, the template solution will also embed the Business Analytics tool into the 3 rd party applications. The candidate is expected to study and understand the industrial’s common practises, design and develop the Business Analytics template with best practice KPIs.

Perform R&D on Business Analytics capabilities, produce documentation & perform solution testing.

Explore and design the configurable data integration platform with various data sources to populate data into the template data model.

Design workable and highly scalable Business Analytics model that can be used for rapid rollout to the clients.

Design standard dashboards and KPI reports that are usable by targeted industries.

Provide support on the template solution to the project implementation team and client.

Perform transition of the solution template to the project implementation team, including implementation guide, knowledge transfer, and technical support.

Recommend and identify possible improvement of the template solution for future enhancement.

Flexibility to be assigned to as part of the project implementation team.
Essential Skills

Degree in Information Technology or related IT field or equivalent working experience. Preferable with master degree.

Minimum 5 years of experience with one or more Business Intelligence tools like Microstrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, OBIEE or QlikView.

Exposure to development tools such as ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET.

Experience on MSSQL Server Analysis Services, MSSQL, MSSQL Server Integration Services, SharePoint Power Pivot, Tableau, and Qlikview is an additional advantage.

Experience designing and building extract, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to convert operational transactional data into dimensions and fact tables.
